Navratri Festival
Navratri is a festival celebrated every year with great devotion, joy, and enthusiasm. During this time, various religious, cultural, and social activities are organized to engage people—especially the younger generation.
Over the past two decades, the celebrations have included special programs like Shri Sukt and Atharvashirsha chanting, aimed at promoting spiritual and cultural values among school students. Around 15,000 students visit the Mandir during this period to chant mantras like Shri Sukta and Atharvashirsha in a peaceful, divine environment.
To encourage participation, the temple provides prasad and school supplies as gifts to all students. The electric lighting decorations are also inaugurated every year during Navratri, with a special guest invited by the temple trustees to mark the occasion.
One of the most sacred parts of the festival is the Kanya Pooja, where young girls are worshipped as symbolic forms of the Goddess. During this ritual, the girls are offered Prasad and school gifts as a sign of respect and blessings.
Navratri is celebrated every year with devotion and care, as the Mandir continues to support and inspire the community—especially children—through these thoughtful and meaningful traditions.
